Canonical stops funding distribution Kubuntu

Leading develope[t:tag slug=razrabotka]developer of Kubuntu Jonathan Riddel told that it was decided to stop funding the development of distribution after the release of 12.04. He also said that after the release of Kubuntu 4.12 will lose a paid support.

This decision was taken because of the commercial failure of Kubuntu. Jonathan writes: “The seven years I have tried to create a distribution, to show the beauty of technology KDE, but, unfortunately, the commercial world, it was not adopted and do not have any visible signs that it will happen in the near future.”
