Russian Foundation for NGI buys Linux-company Mandriva and PingWin Software

Foundation with Russian roots “NGI, which attributed to contact with Leonid Reiman, bought a controlling stake in French Linux-developer Mandriva, and soon will buy Russian adopters free software PingWin Software.

PingWin Software was established in May last year a group of IT companies as a separate company to “provide services to deploy, upgrade and support of corporate information systems based on free software (ACT). It was headed by Dmitry Komissarov. Recently it became known that Dmitry will join the directors of Mandriva.
