Asian countries have begun the transition from proprietary products from such companies as Microsoft’s software open source, this was reported Tuesday at the Eighth Annual Symposium Asia Open Source Software in Denpasar, Indonesia. The symposium was attended by IT-specialists from Bangladesh, India, China, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and other countries.
