Open Source comes and starts to pay serious money

Debate around freely distributed software will not subside for quite some time. And finally for the first time talking about what Open Source can still bring serious money. Gaptill Bruce (Bruce Guptill), analyst and consultant in the company of Saugatuck Technologies, claims that two-thirds of today’s open-source projects under development, are products that are created by rather large and quite successful commercial kompaniy.Interesno that in recent there is a definite shift towards Open Source among many large software companies. “Every major developer now has the so-called” significant elements “of open source software in their offerings,” said Bruce Gaptill.
