New site Linux.com

Linux Foundation in March of this year, is committed to the development, filling and maintaining the site linux.com, designed to unite users and Linux-gurus from around the world. During the last two months of feedback and ideas for the site were taken from the community.

Today the official presentation of the updated site. The main idea of Linux Foudation was that, rather than a static site to a more modern, relevant to the spirit of free software and dynamic web site that lets users create content, share information, add news, documentation and reviews.

The site introduced the points system for the tips, adding code, writing documentation, and other activities. Each year, the most active Linux-guru will receive a powerful personal computer, signed personally by Linus Torvalds.
