Fedora 6 - is available now!

Announced the release of release Fedora Core 6 Linux.

From innovations Fedora Core 6 include:
# Rebuilt and updated most packages using the new build system based on Mock (build packages in a special chroot environment);
# In the anaconda and kickstart added the ability to install from additional yum repositories;
# To work with Java applets in Firefox used gcjwebplugin plug;
# The new default font is DejaVu.
# Platform support MacIntel;
# GNOME 2.16.0, X.org 7.1, KDE 3.5.4
# Linux kernel 2.6.18;
# Using the window manager Compiz and AIGLX for 3D effects to your desktop;
# System notifications on updates installed packages;
# Increased the speed of execution, due to the use of linker options DT_GNU_HASH;
# Enable in the GUI virt-manager to create and configure Xen environments
# Improved tools for auto-detect type of LCD monitors and notebook screens;
# System configuration has been improved printing system-config-printer.
