Portable Ubuntu allows you to run Linux directly under Windows

The authors of the new project Portable Ubuntu set out to make as simple as running the operating system Ubuntu Linux with Windows. They succeeded.

In such combined Portable Ubuntu Open Source-development as the core of the project coLinux (Cooperative Linux) for running Linux-kernel on Windows, a graphical X-server Xming (version of Xorg, compiled for Windows using MinGW and Pthreads-Win32) and audioserver for PulseAudio Windows.

Now anyone can run Ubuntu Linux directly in Windows, not attaching to it any additional action such as installation and configuration.
