Linux kernel changed the logo. Pingivina Tux replaced Tasmanian devil Tuz

Last night, Linus Torvalds has confirmed the inclusion of the source tree Linux kernel of the new logo, which depicts a creature under the name of Tuz, an image which previously served as a mascot conference linux.conf.au 2009. In the future release of Linux kernel 2.6.29 image is hosted as Documentation / logo.svg. The authors of the images are Andrew McGown and Josh Bush, the image prepared in a vector graphics editor Inkscape and distributed under a free license Creative Commons BY-SA.
