Social Insurance Fund of Russia are moving to Linux

Social Insurance Fund of Russia (FSS) completely converted to Linux. The organization tests the distributions of the two manufacturers Alt Linux and Mandriva. The final decision will guide the Fund at the end of this - the beginning of next year.

According to the representative of the FSS, the differences between the distributions of the two companies are small, and great attention is paid to fund the level of support. It has yet to train specialists in IT-half of the regional offices and end users.
