Why open applications do not have a good design

OpenSource shortage of programmers is not observed. According to research from IDC 5000 Developer 71% are working well above the open software. Moreover, the use of the latter in organizations rastet.Hudozhniki and designers are quite resistant to the idea of creative collaboration. Undoubtedly there are Creative Common-license, but very few of them can be seen in praktike.V the problem? Why programmers get more altruistic than the designers?
