Was published the Linux operating system for Muslims

As reported May 20, 2008 site Nixp.ru, released in the light version of the popular Ubuntu Linux operating system for Muslims - Ubuntu Muslim Edition (UbuntuME) 8.04.

In the release UbuntuME, based on Ubuntu Linux 8.04, includes packages for the Arabic language, Muslim specialized software (Encyclopedia Thwab, Monajat program for displaying Islamic prayers), the utility for the study of the Koran (Zekr 0.7.0) and the utility for filtering content on the Internet ( WebStrict), included by default.

Distribution is distributed in CD-and DVD-versions - the latter can find a more complete collection of texts of the Koran. Also in the updated UbuntuME decoration: usplash, login screen, Islamic wallpapers for desktop theme.
