Torvalds propose to establish their version of the GPL

Ed Barnett (Ed Burnette) published an open letter to Linus Torvalds (Linus Torvalds), father of Linux-kernel, with a proposal to create his version of the license for free software.
As explained by the message to the compilation of this letter prompted his long-term monitoring of how the software industry suffers from trying to distinguish between “open” software from the “free”. According to Barnett, it only leads to the fact that “due to improper comments at the top [Source program] is one and the same code is invented again and again.”
It is assumed that the “GPL 2.2″ will be deprived of the problems GPLv2 and radicalization.
