KDE 4.0 came out

KDE Community is pleased to announce the official output of KDE 4.0.0. This version is the crown of a long cycle of intense development and simultaneously marks the beginning of the KDE 4 era. KDE 4 Libraries have seen major improvements in all directions. Put infrastructure Phonon, KDE allows all programs to support the work with media on all operating systems and on the very different hardware. The Solid allows programs to interact with hardware (including with external devices - flash-cards, etc.) on an abstract level, and provides tools for better power management.
