Russia’s software developers for the Linux operating system have created an alliance to jointly participate in the supply of free software in schools

Total number of specialists in the ACT that are included in the alliance, outnumbered those from Mandriva and Ubuntu Canonical producer together. In the case of a successful pilot project in each of the ACT will be Russia’s school, along with Microsoft and other proprietary software. As it became known CNews, the company Alt Linux, “Linux Online”, Naumen, “Etersoft and system integrator” Center “established an alliance to jointly participate in tenders for the supply of free software in Russia’s schools. This CNews said a top manager of one of the companies participating in the alliance.
