In France, won a lawsuit for non-compliance with terms of the GPL

Unprecedented in its history, the decision made last week French Themis. Court of Appeal of Paris found the company guilty of violating Edu4 free the GNU GPL. Edu4 distributed binaries software for remote management of desktop-based project VNC without providing users with access to source codes and deliberately removed from the program, all references to its free origin. The suit was filed the French association of vocational training (AFPA).
