Setting up DB2 Enterprise 9 on a Linux virtual machine with VMware ESX Server

This article describes the components of VMware Infrastructure and shows how to configure DB2; Enterprise 9 on a 64-bit virtual machine, Linux; with the package VMware ESX Server. Also provides tips and ways to configure a new created image, and presented some possible configurations or scripts that can be used with the package VMware ESX Server.
