Nokia joined the Linux Foundation

Nokia joined the organization Linux Foundation, dedicated to the popularization of the operating systems. The Finnish company is going with the Linux Foundation to work on improving the platform Maemo, which is used in the internet tablet Nokia N800 and Nokia 770.
“Indeed, it is important to understand the features and capabilities of Linux in different environments, and the addition of Marvell, Nokia and VirtualLogix will help us,” said Jim Zemlin, executive director of the Linux Foundation.
